How renting works

New here? Here's the whole process, start to finish. Setting up the first time takes about five minutes.

1. 1

   Create your account

   Sign up with your email. You'll use the same login for every reservation, and to find your contract, photos and receipts later.

2. 2

   Add your tow vehicle

   Enter the make, model, towing capacity and hitch ball size, then upload your driver's license, registration and insurance. We review them once and keep them on file for next time.

3. 3

   Pick a trailer that fits

   Every trailer lists the towing capacity and ball size it needs. We check them against your vehicle and tell you straight away whether it's a match.

4. 4

   Request your dates

   Choose your pickup date, pickup time and return date, then how you'd like to pay — Zelle, card or cash. Nothing is charged yet. Rentals run in 24-hour periods, so the return time matches your pickup time.

5. 5

   Confirm, sign and pay

   We confirm your reservation by email and in-app notification. Sign the rental agreement online, and we'll mark your payment received — after that you're cleared to start.

6. 6

   Pick up, then return

   At the depot, walk around the trailer, photograph the front, both sides and the back, then tap Start rental. When you're done, photograph it again and tap End Rental. Your deposit is refunded about 3 business days later.
